We are getting married in four months...

...and no, we are not registering anywhere. I chose that as the title for this wedding blog because I feel like wedding registries are one among many 'normal' things people do for weddings that I just don't like. According to this website, the average wedding costs over $22,000. We are planning on spending around $3,000, and we think this is entirely doable. Weddings have become too much a business. We want ours to be a big party.
